We had the privilege of hosting Children's Musician and Educator, Frank Leto and his family. The children sang and danced to his familiar songs, "Be My Echo", "Ladybug Ladybug", "Backseat Driver", "Coconut Soap" and more. One of our student commented to Frank "Aren't you the man whose voice comes out of the radio? We always sing your songs!" Frank was touched by her comment.
Easy Fundraising: The Preschool along with our Church is participating in Foodland's "Give Aloha" during the month of September. Foodland and the Western Union Foundation will give back what is donated in lieu of Honolulu Christian Church PLUS match approximately 20 %. Your donation is tax deductible. You may donate up to $249.00 at the cash register, show them your maka'i card, give them the code 78805 (for Honolulu Christian Church), turn in a copy of your receipt to PRESCHOOL (HCPS) marked HCPS. Excursion: Our excursion today to Manoa Library was re-scheduled due to the weather. The new date for our Manoa Library excursion will be Wednesday, September 28th. Our next excursion to Waikiki Fire Station is on Friday, October 07th.
